PRODUCTION OFFICE STAFF

At Royal Weddings we have assembled some of the most talented event videography DPs (Director of Photography/Camera Operators) and digital video editors in the Bay Area. They are creative, personable and hard working. Most importantly, they have experience in shooting, and editing, weddings and other event productions. Our DPs all work closely with their producers, clients, and with an on site assistant.

JOEL COOK

Executive Producer/Director/D.P./Editor

After a three year stint traveling and photographing in Europe, the Middle East and Southern Africa, Joel returned to native state of West Virginia to finish his studies at Marshall University. After graduating, with a degree in broadcasting journalism, and a minor in film production, he moved to San Francisco. In 1987, after shooting and editing his first wedding/reception video, Joel realized that he had found his calling.

"A wedding ceremony and reception is such an important tradition in our society, and in a couples life. The gathering of family and friends, the rich layers of sound and visuals makes video the perfect medium for capturing and telling the story of this special day. This is what I truly love about wedding production and documentation."

The rest is history. Joel has personally shot over 750 weddings and has produced over 2500. He continues to shoot most every weekend, along with closely directing all of Royal Weddings productions and post productions.

GLENN SAUBER

Producer/D.P./P.A./Field Director/Production Coordinator

Glenn joined Royal Weddings in 2000, and in that short time he has personally shot close to 100 weddings. He majored in Theater Arts at San Francisco State University, but his understanding and love for film has provided Glenn with a wonderful perspective on the wedding video process. Glenn has a natural talent as a camera operator, director and producer. Glenn is a people person, and folks respond to his positive energy. He has a lot of fun when he is working, and it shows in his videos.

ERIN LOVEJOY

Producer/Production Coordinator

Erin is our point person for most of our productions. She is smart, detailed oriented, and easy to get along with. Erin's background is in Cultural Anthropology, which helps in the fact that our clientele is so culturally diverse.
